How to get better sleep before your big day

Sleep: we all need it but, sometimes, we just can’t seem to get enough of it. It affects your long-term health and energy levels, but also has an impact on your physical appearance – probably one of the biggest concerns for brides-to-be before their big day.

In general, adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep but the exact amount varies from person to person. A good night’s sleep won’t rid you of your problems in the run up to your wedding day, but it can mean that you’re able to deal with difficult or stressful situations more easily.

Best Man Speech

Best Man Speech

When you are asked to be a best man at your friend or sibling’s wedding, it truly is an honour. Once the dust has settled on you being asked though, it can become a little daunting and the fear can set in especially when thoughts turn to delivering the best man’s speech on the big day.

When a guy asks their buddy or sibling to be best man, they generally don’t choose them for their oratory skills but those skills might need to be honed or developed a little for the occasion of the wedding. It’s important that the best man doesn’t put too much pressure on himself about the speech because doing so is likely to heighten nerves even further.
