Having flower girls on your wedding day is the perfect way to include younger members of your family or close friends and give them a sense of importance on your big day. Traditionally, the significance of having a flower girl was to lead the bride forward and symbolise the innocence fading away, bringing her role as a wife and mother forward. These days, flower girls tend to carry cute wicker baskets scattering natural petal confetti as they proceed down the aisle before the bride enters. If you’re looking for something different, Shropshire Petals have just launched their brand-new range of adorable Flower Girl Wands. Make your flower girls feel like magical princesses as they carry their wands and hold them during your ceremony.
For the bride who favours classy over crass, and loves sharing their wedding journey on social media, The Hen Party Hamper from Team Hen contains everything you need to throw an unforgettable night, that’ll leave you with stylish Instagram worthy hen party photos to remember.

Getting married soon or planning to attend a summer wedding? It may only be February, but if you’re a Bride, Mother of the Bride, part of the wedding party or even just a guest, it’s important to start planning your outfit now, including your choice of wedding hat.
Weddings can be expensive so planning in advance should save you both time and effort in the lead up to the big day.
One of the most important parts of any wedding outfit, of course, is a great hat.
A beautiful hand-made hat will finish off any wedding look perfectly and with hats set to be a huge trend for 2018, Beverley Edmondson from www.beverleyedmondsonmillinery.co.uk reveals her top tips:
Fragrance experience designers Design In Scent have collaborated with royal milliner Jane Taylor to launch the UK’s first scented wedding hat collection – a beautiful way to mark the big day and continue remembering it long after it’s over…

Are you attending a wedding in the coming months? If so, you’ve probably planned out what you’ll be wearing. It’s an important day after all and what better excuse to hit the shops and find a new outfit from head to toe? After picking out a stunning dress (careful you don’t upstage the bride – unless you are the bride!) and some equally stunning footwear, you’ll be looking at accessories, and how to tie the ensemble together in a stylish way. This is often the hardest part. But have no fear. Follow this advice, because there’s no more sure-fire way to make a statement than landing the right wedding hat.

Amongst the uproar of the intense organization, the venue, the flowers and every thing in between, the outfit for the groom is one of the few elements of a wedding that typically gets little thought.

Rotherham designer sets sights on global success with bespoke bridal designs
A Rotherham-based entrepreneur whose catwalk creations once took London Fashion week by storm is wowing blushing brides across the world with her range of bespoke bridal accessories.
From an early age, Chelsey Peart (née Crossland) always had a keen interest in the fashion world. She studied Fashion Design at University and the 26 year-old from Rawmarsh has built a career for herself as an art and textiles teacher. But unlike most teachers, Chelsey has a secret second life.
Although the most popular time of year for a wedding are the summer months (this is when we are the busiest with our wedding stationery), The winter wedding is fast becoming a popular choice for the bride and groom. I used to think that is was because all the wedding venues were booked up years in advance during the summer, but I am starting to see a trend on ceremonies around the Christmas season. Why not combine a wonderful white wedding with the festive months? There is so much scope for decorations, bridal wear, and venues and since we can never rely on the summer weather, it is the perfect opportunity to go all out winter wonderland!

Fragrance is personal. Most of us know what we like and what we don’t. However, buying a fragrance for a special occasion can be difficult, especially if that occasion is your wedding day – a moment you will remember for the rest of your life, making the scent you choose forever associated with the memory. Specialising in a range of vintage perfumes, reimagined with a modern edge, we asked Sophia Fannon-Howell, founder of British perfume house, Deco London, for her advice on finding the perfect Wedding scent.
Choosing wedding favours that everyone will love and enjoy, but also fit in well with your wedding can be hard to find. Making each individual one yourself can be time consuming as well as expensive, and are often forgotten at the end of the night.
The traditional of a wedding favour seems to be taking a turn and being twisted to fit a modern wedding; the trend for homemade tipples leaves out little ones and can take more time and effort than you originally anticipate. It’s time to bring back the wedding tradition and thank each guest with a small gift they are guaranteed to love.
