The Boho Booth launches to take stylish selfies to new heights

A stunning 1969 VW Campervan has been painstakingly restored and modified to house what is set to become the UK’s trendiest photo booth. Available to hire for weddings and events from February 2017, The Boho Booth - affectionately named ‘Callie’ and originally from New York – integrates a high- resolution camera and internet-enabled touchscreen operating system with an abundance of stylish props to bring a new dimension to selfie snaps.

Opening the boot of The Boho Booth reveals a Hollywood make-up mirror and collection of beautiful and unique props, accessories, flower crowns and signs crafted in the UK. The Boho Booth team also offers an optional Glitter Station, where guests can get the glam festival look with glitter face paints and adornments as well as the option to have fresh flower crowns created by a talented florist. In addition The Boho Booth team can create various designs of a guest book keepsake featuring guest images and personal messages.

the boho boothInside the booth, with a backdrop of music chosen by the user, the camera takes three different images. Guests are able to choose between black and white or sepia filters before the photos are automatically printed in a strip for each guest. The images can then be uploaded to social media directly from the booth. After the event the full collection of images are sent back to the party hosts in a high-resolution format to be shared and enjoyed for many years to come. 

Behind The Boho Booth are Zoe Wells and her fiancé Jon, who also run a vintage car hire business. Taking design inspiration from the US and Australia, the couple completed the renovation themselves sustainably sourcing materials used where possible. A local artisan sign writer and artist hand-painted Zoe’s bespoke signage on the campervan. 

Available throughout the UK, the self-powered booth is fully operational for three hours as standard and can be booked for up to six hours per event. Prices start from £495.00 and include a technician on hand throughout the event.
