Picking the perfect wedding entertainment

When it comes to your big day, there are certain elements that guests will come out remembering; the dress and the food are a given, but what about the entertainment? There’s nothing more disappointing than a dull reception and with most weddings lasting the entirety of the day and night, it’s important to keep guests entertained.

Weddings are usually a muddle of many different groups of friends and family, so it’s important to offer something that suits all tastes. To help make things easier for you, we’ve put together a rundown of some of our favourite ways to spice up your entertainment offering on your big day.

Caricaturists

Caricaturists are a fantastically unique way to capture the excitement of individuals at your wedding.  This quick and fun artistic entertainment will be both amusing for onlookers as well as participants. It also provides a perfect reminder of the wedding for guests to take away.Picking the perfect wedding entertainment

Cocktail cars

Cocktail cars are a great addition to any wedding reception acting as a bar as well as an entertainment source. Serving cocktails tailored to the couple’s personality, whilst making a great show of the mixing and having charming conversation with the guests will be sure to make this vehicle a very popular addition to your day.

Guest book

Memories are a big part of any wedding and people like to capture them in many different ways. The most traditional is of course the guest book, yet people tend to miss it out, or spend too long queuing. The new and improved version of having a polaroid guest book is a great alternative. Guest can take their own selfies on a polaroid camera before writing a personal note to the couple at the bottom of the photo. It makes it much more intimate and means all the photos can be displayed during the wedding, before being placed in a book which the couple can treasure for years to come.

Picking the perfect wedding entertainmentMidnight feast

Who says midnight feasts should be confined to childhood sleepovers? Embrace the joy that comes with night-time feasts and treat your guests to a late night nibble. Keep things simple and avoid stuffy, fancy foods. Think mini sliders, Korean fried chicken or small pots of mac ‘n’ cheese. This will mean guests leave on a high and wont feel quite so worse for wear the morning after!
